Airistar^® units utilize the HEXAFLOW™ purification process to remove a variety of airborne contaminants from the air (Figure 1). This six stage purification process can effectively remove up to 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or larger, which includes such common contaminants as human hair, pollen, and plant and fungal spores, in the first purification cycle. This process will also remove as much as 65% of smog, tobacco smoke, and many other fumes and gases from the air on the first purification cycle.
